After seven years as Sales Manager and Project Manager of a Pro-AV Dealership in Detroit, Rick joined CMI in 1998 to better serve our northeastern region of the Midwest.  He has vast experience and knowledge of our business, the products we represent as well as the operations of the Pro-AV Dealer.  Rick was promoted to President of Central Marketing in August 2005 and is now a Principle.

Based in Central Marketing’s N.E. Ohio Regional Office, Troy joined the Central Marketing team in January 2002.  Prior to his hire, Troy obtained a BS in Marketing & Business Finance and held various Management Positions with several Fortune 100 Companies, which has proven beneficial in his ongoing work with manufacturers and dealers in his Regional Territory of Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, W. Pennsylvania & West Virginia for Central Marketing.

Nick joined the Central Marketing team in July of 2002, bringing on board a long, successful career in the Pro-AV industry. Since graduating from Columbia College in Chicago, Nick has focused his career on the Broadcast TV/Commercial AV Industry. Since joining CMI eight years ago, Nick’s responsibilities have included territory management & customer support for Chicago Metro, Wisconsin, Minnesota and the Dakotas. He is an expert at on-site product presentations and technical training, and has served as a liaison between manufacturers to dealers to Customers, developing synergistic relationships with Audio Visual Consultants/Architects.

Phil brings a strong thirty-one year background in business ownership, distribution, marketing, and sales management to CMI. Phil’s field training was completed by John Schloot, and he also successfully completed an ICIA education program.  Phil joined Central Marketing in September 2002 and currently serves as territory manager of our Missouri office. He attended Central Missouri State University before being drafted into the U.S. Army. As a combat infantryman in Vietnam, Phil was awarded three bronze stars and two Army commendation medals. He and his wife Cindy just celebrated their 42nd anniversary.

Linda Andel, Office Manager

Linda joined Central Marketing in 2008 and  brings a wealth of business administration and technology experience to CMI, having worked as an office manager and tech consultant for several mid-sized Chicago area companies. A computer expert, Linda took her degree from one of Chicago’s premier tech colleges, and provides a high degree of organization and follow-through to assist the CMI team of manufacturer representatives.

Megan Visco, Administrative Assistant

Megan began with Central Marketing in 2009. After being awarded a scholarship from Woodstock High School as “Business Student of the Year,” Megan attended Northern Illinois University and continues her studies while providing efficient, results-oriented customer service skills to CMI. She brings to Central Marketing a vast computer knowledge and an amazing typing speed of 90+ words per minute along with her superb customer service skills!
